Saranya Mohan is an Indian former actress, who predominantly appeared in Malayalam and Tamil films.

Early life
Saranya is the eldest daughter of Mohan and Kalamandalam Devi.[1] She has a younger sister named Sukanya who is also trained classical dancer.[1] Both her parents are trained classical dancers and dance teachers, who together run a dance school, Y.K.B Dance Academy [3] in Alappuzha, where Saranya herself also learnt dancing bharatanatyam.
She studied at St. Joseph's College for Women, Alappuzha,[4] completing her B. A. degree in English literature.[5] After completing MA in English Literature from Annamalai University,[6]Chidambaram she completed MF
