Kenneth Charles Branagh was born on December 10, 1960, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He is an actor, director, and screenwriter. Branagh studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began his career in television. At the age of 23, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company, and in 1984, he played the role of Henry V in Stratford.
