​CAMPBELL, Sir COLIN, Lord Clyde (1792–1863), field-marshal, eldest son of Colin Macliver, a carpenter in Glasgow, and Agnes Campbell, of the family of the Campbells of Islay, was born at Glasgow on 20 Oct.
